WebLogic Server, Oracle Forms & Reports, and APEX/ORDS each carry separate licensing requirements. We verify all three.
Middleware licensing is where silent violations accumulate. We verify three product families — WebLogic Server, Oracle Forms & Reports, and APEX/ORDS — against your actual deployment using evidence from your environment.
Most Oracle environments include WebLogic Server, Oracle Forms, or APEX — and most have not verified their licensing position since initial deployment. Oracle SE customers who enable clustering face critical findings. Organizations running ORDS on standalone servers often have an unlicensed database connection they do not know about. Forms deployments outside of EBS Full Use require separate processor licensing even though Forms is technically deprecated.
Critical pattern: WebLogic Standard Edition deployed in a clustered configuration is one of the most common high-severity findings we encounter. Clustering requires WebLogic Enterprise Edition — a significantly higher license cost. This violation is invisible without intentional verification.
Our middleware review extracts the actual deployment configuration from your environment — not what was intended to be deployed, but what is running right now — and maps it against Oracle's published licensing rules for each product.
